DPLA Launch date meet up at Smithsonian Libraries, Thursday,
April 18, 3 - 5 pm
Smithsonian Libraries and the Digital Library Federation
will co-host a DPLA launch day meet-up, Thursday, April 18 from 3-5 pm
(location information below). Please feel free to drop by and show your support
for the Digital Public Library of America and solidarity with the citizens of
Boston.
DETAILS:
Where: National Museum of Natural History Library, Smithsonian
Libraries, 10th St. and Constitution Ave., NW. Meet at the “Easter
Island Head” in the Constitution Avenue entrance. You’ll need an escort to the
meet up room (behind the scenes) so call 202.633.1680 for an escort
When: Thursday, April 18, 2013, 3 – 5 pm.
What: Talk about DPLA, participate in the DPLA photobooth,
etc. We’ll provide free wifi, bring a snack if you like (though there may be some Girl Scout cookies and other treats!!!).
