Taiga Forum: "Steal this Library"
Some refining and defining of the Taiga Forum "provacative statements".
Taiga is:
"Taiga is a community of associate university librarians and associate deans, representing all functional areas of the modern research library, who feel keenly the need for academic and research libraries to evolve and who want to talk to peers at other institutions that are facing similar change challenges."

Here's the current draft of the statements are:
- 1: "zero-based budgeting"
- 2: funding according to impact
- 3: don't believe the hype
- 4: users will find most information elsewhere
- 5: on-demand access
- 6: org structures flatten
- 7: success = turnover and reassignment
- 8: UL/Deans will come from business
- 9: what we do, we just haven't gotten rid of
- 10: enforcers of barriers to access
- 11: library space taken over
- 12: bookless libraries are most successful
- 13: trimming costs through radical cooperation
- 14: all we do is in the cloud
