BHL Program Director's Report: 2013 at the @BioDivLibrary Institutional Council meeting

The BHL Institutional Council is gathering for it's annual meeting. We're a little later than usual and we are missing (in person at least) a few of our members. This year, we're in Woods Hold, Mass., hosted by the Marine Biological Laboratory/Woods Hole Oceangraphic Institution Library.

I had the pleasure and honor this weekend to attend the semi-retirement party of Cathy Norton, outgoing Director of the Marine Biological Laboratory / Woods Hole Oceanagrapphic Institution Library. I say "semi" because Cathy will remain in her role as Vice-Chair of the Biodiversity Heritage Library and also stay on at MBL as a "Library Scholar".

It was a great, if chilly, time in Woods Hole. A special thanks to Matt and the rest of the MBL WHOI staff for a wonderful stay.
