I had the pleasure and honor this weekend to attend the semi-retirement party of Cathy Norton, outgoing Director of the Marine Biological Laboratory / Woods Hole Oceanagrapphic Institution Library. I say "semi" because Cathy will remain in her role as Vice-Chair of the Biodiversity Heritage Library and also stay on at MBL as a "Library Scholar".It was a great, if chilly, time in Woods Hole. A special thanks to Matt and the rest of the MBL WHOI staff for a wonderful stay.
