Open World Leadership Presentation at Library of Congress

On September 28, the Open World Leadership Center sponsored a seminar at the Library of Congress for 50 visiting Russian librarians.

I gave a presentation, "Creating Content: Smithsonian Institution Libraries' Digital Library Program".

The seminar was part of a series of such events for the group that will be held around the country

Recent sidewalk construction has placed the cast of the skull of "Hatcher", the Smithsonian's Triceratops behind fencing. The juxtaposition of the skull, the flag, the barbed wire and the IRS building made for an interesting composition.
