Columbia, SC Starbucks - Night!

A quite nice Starbucks in Five Points neighborhood. It was a hot night out and I sat by the fountain while drinking a coffee.

Strom Thurmond

Outside the South Carolina State Capitol with the statue of Strom Thurmond striding off into the distance! It was a pretty hot day in Columbia when I visited the State Capitol. The grounds were quite nice.

I had the "Big Pig Dinner" which included the pulled pork BBQ, coleslaw, roll, and the mysterious "hash" (served over rice). The mustard based sauce was quite good. The interesting ambience created by Maurice Bessinger was ... uh ... interesting!
