Fascinating presentation on some of the historical herbarium collections from Ukraine. Some great images of specimens from 18th and early 19th centuries.Some problems with historical collections:
- keep separate or merge with other collections? (Depends on history, traditions, etc., no single answer)
- General vs. limited (restricted) access? (most limit to specialized researchers)
- taxonomic treatment, identification of types (international and national efforts crucial - Global Plants is important)
