One of the oldest churches in Leiden, Pieterskerk is noted as being the church of the English Pilgrims when they were exiled to the Netherlands before coming to America. No longer an active church, it's sort of a general purpose hall. During my visit, it was the headquarters for the upcoming Leiden Marathon. Sort of odd to see a bunch of sporting goods sales stands in the confines of a church!
